A diplomat turned
Las Vegas realtor.
From a career in government and international relations to helping people find their dream homes in Las Vegas. Persistence, communication, and patience define how I work.
Martin Guaglione · Realtor · eXp Realty, Las Vegas
I grew up in Southern California, went to UCLA, and always had one foot in the American dream of home ownership — even when the other foot was overseas.
After UCLA, I pursued a career in Government and earned my Master’s degree in International Relations from American University’s School of International Service in Washington, DC. That path took me around the world as a U.S. Diplomat — negotiating across cultures, navigating complex deals, and learning how to listen before I speak.
While posted overseas, I kept coming back to America and buying homes as investments. I loved the process — the search, the negotiation, the moment a set of keys changed hands. It became clear that real estate was not just something I did on the side. It was what I wanted to do full-time.
When I settled in Las Vegas, I brought everything with me: the diplomatic training, the negotiation instincts, the patience to work through complicated transactions, and the ability to see a deal from every angle. This is a market where that background matters — especially for out-of-state buyers, international clients, and investors who need someone they can trust without being in the room.
I speak Thai and German fluently, which means I can work directly with clients who would otherwise need a translator. There is no middleman, no miscommunication, no details lost between languages. For Thai-speaking and German-speaking buyers looking at Las Vegas, that is a real advantage.
I also understand what it feels like to relocate. I have moved countries, adapted to new cultures, and figured out where to put down roots in places I did not grow up. That lived experience is something I bring to every client who is considering Las Vegas from California, from another state, or from abroad.
I am not a high-volume agent chasing the next deal. I work person to person, focusing on doing each transaction right. Whether you are a first-time buyer using a VA loan, an investor building a portfolio, or a family relocating from out of state, you get my full attention and the benefit of a career spent learning how to negotiate on your behalf.
